Report: Robert Jennings Enters Transfer Portal
Jennings was one of three holdovers from Lutz’s first OSU squad.
One of the holdovers from Steve Lutz’s first year has hit the portal.
Robert Jennings II entered the portal Tuesday afternoon, according to The Athletic’s Tobias Bass. Jennings played in just three games this past season because of a hip injury before he and the program announced he’d seek a medical redshirt.
Jennings started all 35 of Oklahoma State’s games in Lutz’s first year with the program, where he averaged 5.4 points and 3.4 boards a game. In the 39 total minutes he played this past season, he totaled 11 points and 12 boards.
Listed at 6-foot-7, 230 pounds, Jennings spent the first two seasons of his college career at Texas Tech. He averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 boards and about a dozen minutes in his final season as a Red Raider.
Jennings joins Daniel Guetta, Vyctorius Miller and Jaylen Curry as Pokes entering the portal. There is also a report that Anthony Roy will seek an extra year of eligibility in the portal while going through the NBA Draft process.
That leaves six players (Kanye Clary, Isaiah Coleman, Andrija Vukovic, Mekhi Ragland, Benjamin Ahmed and Ryan Crotty) as Cowboys who have not publicly made a decision on next season.
