Report: Vyctorius Miller Enters Transfer Portal
Miller started 26 games for the Pokes.
With the conclusion of the college basketball season on Monday night, the transfer portal officially opened Tuesday.
Vyctorius Miller joined Daniel Guetta as portal-bound Pokes, with ESPN’s Jeff Borzello first reporting news of Miller’s entry.
Miller took part in 32 games for the Cowboys this season, making 26 starts. He averaged 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists a contest. Miller had a particularly strong start to the season, as five games into his OSU tenure, he was averaging 20.6 points.
He eclipsed the 20-point mark four times in his lone season as a Cowboy, including dropping 30 on Prairie View A&M.
A 6-foot-5 guard from Los Angeles, Miller transferred to OSU from LSU last offseason, where he averaged 8.9 points a game as a freshman.
OSU will lose some star power from its games with Miller’s departure, as he is the son of rapper Silkk the Shocker and is the nephew of Master P.
It’ll be interesting to see just how much the Cowboys’ roster turns over entering Steve Lutz’s third season. As of now, it’s Miller and Guetta in the portal, but eight other Cowboys from last season’s squad have yet to make announcements on what is next for them.
