Jarrick Bernard, a Class of 2018 prospect out of Evangel Christian Academy High School in Shreveport, Louisiana, committed to Oklahoma State Saturday via Twitter.

The listed safety was also recruited by Kansas State, Arkansas, Arizona and others.

Bernard is the sixth safety to commit to the Cowboys in the past two (2017 and 18) recruiting classes.

Tre Sterling

At 6-foot-2, 200 pounds, he is about as versatile as they come though. In the first minute or so of Bernard’s Hudl tape, he plays safety, star linebacker and corner. As a sophomore, he recorded 38 tackles, three (!!!) interceptions, a forced fumble and a pair of fumble recoveries, according to Max Preps.

With so many safeties coming in, there is clearly a master plan behind all of this. Bernard seems to be another viable athlete to throw into the mix.
