Trey Reeves, son of former Oklahoma State great Bryant Reeves, will walk on with the Oklahoma State basketball team.

Reeves, a 6’4″ forward, comes to OSU from Muldrow High School. He averaged 10.1 points and 6.4 rebounds per game for the MHS Bulldogs in the regular season.

Reeves’ father, Bryant “Big Country” Reeves, was one of the best, if not the best, to ever play basketball at OSU. Reeves averaged 21.5 points per game as a senior and led the Cowboys to the Final Four in 1995. He was later selected sixth overall in the 1995 NBA Draft by the Vancouver Grizzlies. Even now, Reeves is considered one of the greatest seven-footers to ever play college basketball.

Trey Reeves and the Cowboys have already started practices for the upcoming season. The Cowboys will play their first exhibition game on November 1 against Pittsburg State and will open the regular season on Nov. 11 versus Campbell.
