Superlatives from the Iowa State Game

MVP: Marcell Ateman. 132 yards on 8 receptions and a TD. He was the clear release valve for Rudolph in the first half.

Biggest swing play of the game: That offsides by Victor Salako was amazing. Nice work here by the big fella.

Player that stepped up: When needed, Emmanuel Ogbah was a monster down the stretch. He had two big sacks in some big boy plays down the critical stretch of the game. This one from early in the game was incredible.

Most interesting development: We may have found a running game, and Chris Carson ran like a man in Ames.
Something to consider: Is Mike Gundy headed for his second coach of the year award?
Gus Johnson: “My early vote? Mike Gundy, Coach of the Year in college football.” #okstate
