Texas turns in one of the worst shooting performances in years
Texas was bad yesterday, I think we can all agree on that.
But did you know they were historically bad?
Here are the 10 worst three-point shooting performances by Big 12 teams in the last eight years by percentage according to StatSheet.
And here are their total three-point shooting numbers in order…
OU: 0-12
TCU: 0-6
KSU: 0-13
KU: 0-9
Tech: 0-11
ISU: 0-12
WVU: 1-22
TCU: 1-18
Texas: 1-18
OSU: 1-16
Other than WVU’s 1-22 performance against Cincy in ’07-’08 you could make the case that Texas’ outing yesterday was the worst in a long, long time.
Great D by the Pokes, yes, but just an historically poor performance by the Horns.
