Thabo Mwaniki Commits to Oklahoma State

The Magnificent17 adds another big talent

Just two days after picking up an offer from Oklahoma State following a visit to Stillwater, 2017 defensive back Thabo Mwaniki announced that he has committed to play for the Cowboys on twitter:

I mentioned earlier in the week that Mwaniki had confirmed his visit to Stillwater in The Reload; even stating that an offer seemed imminent in my opinion. The offer was extended, and Mwaniki wasted no time pulling the trigger.

The Denton Guyer defensive back pledges to OSU over offers from Air Force, Army, Colorado, Colorado State, UConn, Fresno State, Purdue, SMU, UTSA, North Texas,  and New Mexico. At 5-11, 180-pounds, Mwaniki is a versatile athlete who is a do-it-all on offense and defense, and has good experience playing both defensive back and safety. Expect OSU to put him to good use on defense either at safety or cornerback and with his experience at both, he’s a luxury addition with the ability to move all over the field.
