The numbers weren’t great.

It’s another week of pro-OSU and anti-OSU stats with the Cowboys 31-12 loss to Kansas State on Saturday.

It was harder this week to find good stats for Oklahoma State, but nonetheless, here are the 10 best (and worst) stats from the Cowboys’ Week 7 game.

The Bad

73.4: OSU is averaging 73.4 penalty yards a game, that’s the most of any season in OSU’s online statistical archive that goes back to 1994. The only other seasons where OSU averaged 70 or more were 2002 (71.6) and 1997 (72.2).

12: The Cowboys 12 points Saturday is the fewest they’ve scored since Nov. 15, 2014, when OSU scored 7 against Texas.

184: Taylor Cornelius’ 184 passing yards were the fewest he has thrown this season. He also added two interceptions, bringing his seven-game total to eight picks.

291: K-State’s 291 rushing yards were the most OSU has allowed in a game this season. Texas Tech (224) and Iowa State (140) are the second- and third-most, all of which were OSU losses.

5: The Cowboys’ five tackles for loss is the fewest they’ve had this season. This comes despite K-State running the ball 55 times, the most any opponent has against OSU this year.

The Good

30: With two sacks Saturday, OSU has 30 this season.

0: The Cowboys haven’t allowed a point on opening drives this season.

22: Matt Ammendola was 2-for-2 in field goals Saturday. He has made 22 of his last 23.

19: Dillon Stoner has caught a pass in the past 19 games he has played in. He had an 11-yard reception Saturday.

0: The Cowboys gave up 0 passing touchdowns for the first time this season against Kansas State.
