The Cowboys’ defensive staff just keeps rolling.

Luke Webb, a 2024 defensive line prospect from Deer Park, Texas, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Saturday. Webb chose Oklahoma State over offers from Cal, Arizona, Houston, Kansas, Indiana, SMU and others.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 280 pounds, Webb is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports. He is the No. 728 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings, making him the No. 74 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 114 player from the state of Texas.

Deer Park, a suburb southeast of Houston, went 9-2 this past season making the 6A-DI state playoffs. Webb’s highlights show him primarily playing in the middle of a three-man defensive front as a junior, oftentimes bullying the interior of opposing offensive lines.

Webb becomes the third defensive lineman in the Cowboys’ 2024 class, joining Armstrong Nnodim and Temerrick Johnson, though Johnson could project as a linebacker at the college level. Webb becomes the Cowboys’ 13th overall commit in the cycle. Eight of the Cowboys’ commits are defenders. Webb’s 247Sports Composite rating of .8750 is the third-highest among OSU’s commits trailing only Landyn Cleveland (.8811) and Tre Griffiths (.8759).

Webb’s commitment bumps OSU’s class up to 53rd nationally, just ahead of TCU. That’s good for seventh in the Big 12 (the Big 12 with no OU and Texas but with UCF, Houston, BYU and Cincinnati).
