Three-Star Offensive Lineman Nuku Mafi Commits to Oklahoma State
Mafi becomes the third offensive lineman to commit this cycle.
Nuku Mafi was on an official visit Saturday when the Cowboys beat a ranked Kansas team, and Sunday, he committed to the Pokes.
Mafi is a 6-foot-4, 295-pound offensive lineman from Salt Lake City, Utah. He announced his decision on Instagram. Mafi also had offers to Utah, BYU, Tennessee, Nebraska, Arizona State and others.
He is a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking, listed as the No. 1,114 overall prospect in the class and the No. 11 player from Utah.
Mafi plays at West High School in Salt Lake City, the same high school OSU got running back Sesi Vailahi from in the last cycle. Also of note, Mafi was on his official visit alongside high school teammate Semisi Tonga, another three-star offensive lineman with an OSU offer.
Mafi becomes the third offensive lineman to commit to OSU’s 2024 class. He joins Caleb Hackleman, a three-star prospect from Texarkana, Texas, and Chauncey Johnson, a three-star prospect out of Lonoke, Arkansas.
OSU’s class moves up to 57th nationally with Mafi’s commitment, according to 247Sports, that’s good for 10th in the Big 12.
