Recruiting

6-foot-3, 180-pound quarterback Myles Brennan, a three-star prospect from Bay Saint Louis, MS., will make an unofficial visit to Stillwater.

Brennan is a rising prospect with several big time offers since the new year began: Wisconsin, Memphis, Vanderbilt, and Southern Miss. That adds to his list that also includes West Virginia, California, and others.
He doesn’t hold an offer from the Cowboys yet, but the fact that Brennan is making the trip to Oklahoma all the way from Mississippi is a good sign that the interest is mutual between both parties.
According to MaxPreps, Brennan has thrown for 11,045 yards and 117 touchdowns in just two seasons, including 686 yards on the ground. Brennan has a big upside and has a legitimate claim to being one of the top quarterbacks in Mississippi. Scout ranks him No. 2 at his position in the state, and the No. 48 quarterback in the 2017 class.
I like Brennan as a prospect, and Yurcich has proven he’s willing to recruit outside of the region – and he’s done it well. Given the fact that he’s already drawing major interest from schools, including OSU, and the need for a centerpiece quarterback for 2017 still remains, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Brennan head home with an offer in hand.
