The Cowgirls were back in Neal Patterson Stadium this weekend, and there was no shortage on goals.

The Oklahoma State soccer team beat Florida Atlantic 3-0 on Friday before blasting Little Rock 8-0 on Sunday. OSU advanced to 3-1 on the young season.

Junior Hannah Chance scored five goals on the weekend (two against FAU and three against Little Rock), which already brings her season total to six. For reference, Grace Yochum and Olyvia Dowell led the Cowgirls last season with eight goals apiece — for the whole season. From Broken Arrow, Chance missed last season because of injury. She hadn’t scored a college goal before this season.

Colin Carmichael has a young squad this season — evident by three different freshmen netting goals this weekend. Adelhia Ghonda scored against FAU, her second goal of the season. Laudan Wilson and Lexi Lee each scored against Little Rock. It was Wilson’s second goal of the year and Lee’s first.

OSU is back in action Thursday with a road game against Texas State before hosting Central Arkansas at 1 p.m. Sunday (less than 24 hours after the OSU football team also hosts Central Arkansas).

PFB photographer Devin Wilber was roaming the sidelines at Neal Patterson Stadium this weekend with camera in hand. Here are his 10 best photos.
