As many of you enjoy Sunday afternoon NFL action, take a minute to look back at some of the most impressive plays from yesterdays college football action. I won’t rank the plays, but I’ll separate them by categories. Let’s get to it.

Receptions

You know receivers love to make amazing catches, but the most common way for a receiver to have an opportunity at an amazing catch is to have a bad QB…. So should an amazing WR want an inaccurate QB? I kid… But a bad toss gives way for an incredible catch like this below.

This one-handed grab looked too easy.

CeeDee Lamb looked really good last night 🙁

Beautiful Tosses

On the other hand, some tosses can make both the QB AND the WR look great. Like this one:

Big Hits of the Week

Oh, Hello JD King.

Big hits of the weekend will be fewer in number as protection for players increases.  This, however, was an impressive, legal hit that I’d love to see more of.

Best Stretch for the Goal Line

Successful stretch for the goal line for a big TD.

Unsuccessful stretch for the goal line … Resulting in a touchback.

Most Fortunate Bounce

Best Interception

Big time one-handed grab at the last second!

#SpecialTeamsMatter

Back-to-back kickoff returns for touchdowns … Wow. Hoping to see some of this from Chuba Hubbard down the road.

KaVontae Turpin may be the most explosive player in the Big 12.
