Tuesday Poll: Which OSU Offense Was More Loaded?
Which offense was more loaded? The 2011 version or the 2017 version. We should have a more definitive answer in about eight months, probably, but it’s an interesting debate right now. I’m not sure where I fall, either, because of how many ways there are to judge loaded-ness.
In 2011 Oklahoma State was third in the nation in yards per play at 7.24. This team could match or surpass that of course, but that’s a lofty, incredible number. On the other hand, I’m not sure pure numbers tell the entire story. I don’t know that this team is trying to be as explosive as that one was. They play a different game now.
It comes down to which offense you would rather have based on the 20 or so guys lining up with the ball in their hands. As always your comments will be included with the poll results on Wednesday.
