The Cowboys’ newest linebacker is a winner.

Dallas Winner-Johnson announced a commitment to Oklahoma State on Tuesday via the transfer portal. Listed at 6-foot-5, 230 pounds, Winner-Johnson played at Tulane this year and was an FCS Freshman All-American at Missouri State in 2024. He should have two years of eligibility remaining.

Winner-Johnson primarily played on special teams in his first year at the FBS level. Through 10 games he made five tackles, including a tackle for loss.

He previously made 10 starts at Missouri State as a redshirt freshman in 2024 and played in all 12 of the Bears’ games. He finished that season with 62 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and a sack.

Winner-Johnson redshirted at Missouri State in 2023, playing in four games where he made four tackles.

He’s from St. Louis by way of Cardinal Ridder High School, where he won a state title during his senior season. He had 123 tackles that year, including seven sacks.

Winner-Johnson is the second linebacker the Pokes have picked out of the portal on Tuesday, joining UCO All-American Jack Puckett. OSU has also picked up commitments from linebackers Ethan Wesloski (North Texas), Tate Romney (Arizona State) and Isaiah Chisom (UCLA).
