Twitter Reacts to Stoner’s Big Game, Cade’s Game-winner and More
My timeline was a bit lighter thanks to two Cowboy Ws.
Because of a late schedule shift, Oklahoma State’s final regular season football game ran concurrently with OSU’s final noncon hoops game.
The result, other than a somewhat frantic Pistols Firing Slack conversation, was two Cowboy Ws — and a fun Twitter timeline for yours truly. Have a scroll with me, why don’t you?
The Pokes showed up to McLane Stadium stylin.
A slight exaggeration:
A big reason for the Pokes’ offensive outburst, sans Tylan Wallace, was the way Dillon Stoner showed out in what could be his final Big 12 game.
And in Chuba Hubbard’s stead, OKC native and true frosh Dominic Richardson went HAM with 169 yards and his first three collegiate scores.
BTW, Chuba = Gone (and that’s okay)
In case you’re wondering, this is the appropriate public response, if you choose to have one.
KHP is the realest.
Trace Ford’s Saturday didn’t go how he planned, with the sophomore star going out with injury, but he was there to support his teammates.
Cade Clutch.
While Mike Gundy’s team was running away from the Bears in Waco, Mike Boynton’s squad was in a nail-biter at Wichita State.
Cade may not have done the heavy lifting for the Cowboys in their sixth win, but he capped with a clutch performance, and the world was watching.
