Tylan Wallace Involved in Joint Practice Scrap

These are fairly normal in training camp.

Fights in NFL joint practices have become a somewhat common event, but a former Poke was involved in one on Tuesday.

Former Oklahoma State receiver Tylan Wallace and Washington Commanders first round pick Emmanuel Forbes Jr. got a little frisky with each other after Wallace caught a pass in the Ravens’ joint practice with the Commanders.

Forbes took a few too many swipes at the football for Wallace’s liking after Wallace caught a pass on the outside, which turned into the two exchanging blows before guys from both sides formed a mosh pit. The poor ref threw a flag like that was going to stop the melee.

Again, these are fairly regular occurrences in the training camp heat, so there isn’t too much to take from all this.

Wallace is off to a good start this preseason, catching a touchdown in the Ravens’ 20-19 win against the Eagles on Saturday.

In two seasons with Baltimore, Wallace has caught six passes for 56 yards. Baltimore is back in preseason action Monday with a game against the Commanders, so perhaps Wallace and Forbes will see some more of each other.
