Tyree Griffin Transferring to Southern Miss
Former Oklahoma State point guard Tyree Griffin, who reportedly announced his intention to transfer in May, has found his landing spot and told CBS Sports Jon Rothstein he will be attending Southern Miss.

Griffin was a key cog down the stretch last season and filled in nicely for Jawun Evans after his shoulder injury. He averaged 5.2 points, 3 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game last season. But with OSU bringing in a new coaching regime and new recruits, it seemed that Griffin may have been the odd man out in the rotation moving forward. The Louisiana native now has a chance to move closer to home and, after sitting next season, should see more meaningful playing time and could be a key piece of the Southern Miss squad starting in 2017.
