Tyreek Hill commits to Oklahoma State
A high school 200 meter star has now committed to Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma state is my new home …#GoCowboys
— Ty Hill (@cheetah) September 30, 2013
Besides having a great name (Tyreek the Freek?) Mr. Hill would appear to be fast as Hill as well.
He ran the second-fastest 200 in high school history by .01 seconds in 2012. He also once said “Once I knew I was faster than anybody, I really enjoyed it.”Â
Hill, who is currently at junior college in Kansas, had offers from Tennessee, Bama, OU, and USC. No truth to the rumor that Thayer Evans is going to do a five-part series on why he chose OSU.
Also, here’s his incredible 20.14 200 from last year (how great is the announcer!)…

That time would have finished him sixth at the 2012 Olympic finals…
Usain Bolt — 19.32
Yohan Blak — 19.44
Warren Weir — 19.84
Wallace Spearmon — 19.90
Churandy Martina — 20.00
Tyreek Hill — 20.14
Wow.
