Uni Reveal: Cowboys Going White-Orange-White Against the Ducks

The Cowboys are going with a classic color combo for Eric Morris’ home-opener.

In a rare early release, Oklahoma State announced that the Cowboys will wear white-orange-white against the Ducks on Saturday with on the Patriot Pete helmet.

It matches up nicely with the green-white-green of Oregon.

Not to toot my own horn (entirely to toot my own horn), I nailed the uniform prediction on The Reload.

The Cowboys rocked the classic color combo twice last season, going 1-1. The win was … well, OSU’s only win, against UT-Martin. The loss actually came on the road, as Arizona wore special white uniforms in its 41-13 win against the Pokes in Tucson.

Since the start of 2011, OSU is 16-3 in white-orange-white.

The last time the Cowboys wore this color-combo and helmet decal was in their season-opening win against Tulsa in 2020.

Oklahoma State and the Ducks do battle at 11 a.m. Saturday in Boone Pickens Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN.
