Video: Kenny Gajewski Previews North Texas, Texas Tech
Hear from Kenny G. before a big week of softball.
STILLWATER — What the Cowgirls call Season 1 (the nonconference) comes to an end this week, and Season 2 (Big 12 play) gets going with a big series right off the rip.
Oklahoma State plays North Texas at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Denton before heading west and starting Big 12 play with a three-game series against Texas Tech in Lubbock. North Texas isn’t a team to look over. The Mean Green are 16-4 this season with wins against Baylor and Texas Tech. The Red Raiders, meanwhile, were picked second in the Big 12 preseason poll behind the Cowgirls, so this Big 12-opening series could mean a lot at the end of the year.
OSU coach Kenny Gajewski met with reporters Tuesday to preview the week.
