Drew Mestemaker has been on a tear this season, racking up more 300-yard passing games than any other FBS quarterback. He’s second in the nation in passing yards and leads the Big 12 with 332.3 per game.

But most importantly to Mestemaker, he’s got his Cowboys still very much in the hunt for a Big 12 title.

In a feature on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff Saturday morning, Mestemaker talked about his journey from unknown high school prospect to North Texas and to OSU where his ultimate goal is to bring the Pokes some hardware.

“You know we’ve come together really well, and I’d take our team in any matchup this year and I think we’re ready to compete for the Big 12 Championship, put Oklahoma State’s name back on top of the Big 12.”

Here’s the full feature, followed by OSU’s own hype video for tonight’s road game at Iowa State. Go ahead and put both on a loop while we wait for Saturday night’s kickoff in Ames.

He is that guy. @DrewMestemaker 🤠
