WATCH: Emmanuel Ogbah’s Strip Sack Leads to Scoop-and-Score
I’d like to report a mugging.
Emmanuel Ogbah just committed an act of violence on national television.
During the Miami Dolphins’ win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, the former Oklahoma State sack leader surged into the backfield and annihilated Rams QB Jared Goff, putting the ball on the ground and setting up a defensive score.
Check out this hit.
The Rams were knocking on the door for a go-head score. What resulted instead was a 14-point swing thanks to Ogbah, and the wheels of Dolphins linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel. Miami would go on to win 28-17.
This absolute assault on Goff makes for a new career best with as Ogbah’s sixth sack of the season (this is just Game 7). Ogbah also recorded a pass defended.
Ogbah has been on fire since he took his talents to South Beach after signing with the Dolphins this offseason. Along with his team-leading six sacks, this was also his second forced fumble on the season.
