Watch: Highlights from All of Daniel Cormier’s MMA Title Fight Wins

With former OSU wrestler Daniel Cormier set to take on Stipe Miocic July 6th at UFC 226 for the UFC Heavyweight title, I thought it would be fun to put together a compilation of all of his MMA title fight wins.

Even as an Olympian and extremely high-level athlete, he had to fight at the lower levels of the sport before entering the UFC. His first title fight and win was over Tony Johnson Jr. in a “King of the Cage” bout in which Daniel won by submission in the first round. You can watch it here.

His next title win was in Strikeforce. He won the heavyweight title over Josh Barnett taking the five round fight by unanimous decision. The full fight is below.

His next title win was his first title win in the UFC. He won by submission over Anthony Johnson in the 3rd round.

His first UFC title defense was a split decision win over Alexander Gustafsson.

In his rematch with Anthony Johnson for the UFC light heavyweight title, he won by submission again, this time in the second round.

His most recent title fight win was over Volkan Oezdemir at UFC 220 and was won by knockout early in the second round.

Hopefully he can add another to the collection on July 6 when he fights Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight title. A win there and Daniel will be the first fighter to hold both the UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight title at the same time.
