WATCH: Jay Bilas Picks OSU Over Michigan in First Round
ESPN analyst and basketball expert Jay Bilas broke down some of the first round matchups when the bracket was released on Sunday, making picks on some of the team’s he liked to advance to the round of 32. He picked Oklahoma State as a winner in the first round over No. 7 seed Michigan, citing Jawun Evans’ talent ability to put up 30 points as a big reason the Cowboys can pull out an upset.
“He’s a savvant coming off ball screens,” Bilas said of Evans. “He’s a Chris Paul type guard.”
