Watch: Switchfoot Wishes Cowgirl Tennis Good Luck
Apparently the band Switchfoot is a fan of Cowgirl tennis. After closing out the ITA Regional Indoor Championships with a solid win over No. 8 California, Switchfoot teamed up with Cowgirl coach Chris Young to deliver some much-needed encouragement for a weekend that includes matchups against two top-5 teams in No. 4 Stanford and No. 1 Florida.
The Stanford match is in Lake Nona, Florida. The Florida match on Saturday in Gainesville, will be the primetime match featured in “College Match Day,” the collegiate tennis version of ESPN’s College Gameday.
The Cowgirls are now 8-1 and ranked No. 5 in the latest ITA Top 25.
