Watch: UFC 220 Countdown: Daniel Cormier vs. Volkan Oezdemir
The UFC posted the UFC 220 Countdown video featuring former Oklahoma State Cowboy Daniel Cormier, ahead of his upcoming fight with Volkan Oezdemir, to their YouTube page on Sunday.
We wrote yesterday about the incredible success that Oklahoma State has had in MMA.
Some of that is on display in this. For Oklahoma State fans at around 14:50 into the video you get to see a pretty cool clip of Cormier and former Cowboy Kyle Crutchmer getting a wrestling workout in. It’s pretty apparent by the video that Cormier has taken Crutchmer under his wing in Crutchmer’s move into MMA.

You also may notice that another former Cowboy, Olympic Silver Medalist, and current Stanford wrestling coach Jamill Kelly is in the background coaching up Cormier/Crutchmer.
