Week 1 Highlights of Mason Rudolph’s NFL Debut with the Pittsburgh Steelers
When the first play of your Week 1 highlight package opens with an announcer questioning how you managed to complete an ill-advised pass into traffic, then you know it was mostly a mixed bag of results.
Nonetheless, Mason Rudolph survived an abridged, less controversial Deflategate in his NFL preseason debut this week and came out on the other side with a win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Eagles.
Dustin Ragusa generously graded Rudolph with a B for his showing in which he completed a respectable 7 of 12 passes for zero touchdowns, zero interceptions and took two sacks.
Oh, and he hit James Washington for a long ball and somehow garnered praise from Big Ben! All in all, it was a solid week. Check out some of the highlights from his first official preseason showing below.
