Zachary Crabtree Waived by the Los Angeles Chargers
Former Oklahoma State starting right tackle Zachary Crabtree has been waived/injured by the Chargers according to a release by the team.
Details on the injury are unclear but if Crabtree clears waivers he will revert back to the Chargers’ injured reserve list. This would allow Los Angeles the ability to retain Crabtree and either activate him to the active roster or place him on full injured reserve by Week 6 of the regular season.
The move makes room for Los Angeles to add defensive tackle Marcus Hardison who they claimed off waivers from the Houston Texans. NFL rosters must be cut to 53 by this Saturday, September 1.
Crabtree signed as an undrafted free agent with the Chargers this past spring after starting 46 games for Oklahoma State’s offensive line.
