2019 OSU Basketball Signees Showing Out During Their Senior Years
Mike Boynton’s next class showing that help is on the way.
Recent news from the Oklahoma State basketball program hasn’t been the most fun.
With the departure of four players from the program since the start of the season, it could be difficult for fans to see the light at the end of the tunnel. But OSU’s 2019 class ranks 16th in the country and third among Big 12 schools.
Health is probably the most important thing for the recruits in the eye’s of the OSU faithful, but surely not too far behind that are highlight reel dunks and gaudy point totals. So, here is an update on what Mike Boynton’s 2019 class is up to.
Avery Anderson, Northwest High School, Justin, Texas
Avery Anderson’s senior season at Northwest High has been one big BallIsLife mixtape.
Brad Hensley from BallIsLife has been at a lot of Anderson’s games this season, and Hensley called Anderson one of his favorite players to film. Here are Anderson’s highlights from Northwest’s game against Dallas Jesuit on Dec. 29. Anderson scored 35 points, and Northwest won 80-76.
If that wasn’t enough Anderson for you, maybe check out what he did against Little Elm:
So we doing off the wall dunks in warmups now???

Anderson and Northwest are ranked 10th in Texas’ 5A, according to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches, with a 19-7 record.
Marcus Watson, Buford High School, Buford, Georgia
Marcus Watson made the Arby’s Classic All-Tournament team after his team finished third.
The Arby’s Classic is a prestigious high school hoops tournament that has had the likes of Ray Allen, Udonis Haslem, Mario Chalmers and Buddy Hield play in it. This season’s tournament hosted 18 teams from 10 states and a team from the Bahamas. Watson scored 32 points in the third-place game.
“That’s a grown man,” opposing coach Audwin Howard told Bristol Herald Courier. “I saw [Watson] on the AAU circuit this summer, so I knew what to expect. We lost him in the transition of the game.”
Watson’s Buford High Wolves are 16-2 this season, per MaxPreps. Score Atlanta has Buford ranked second in Georgia’s 5A.
Here are some recent Watson highlights from Buford’s game against Banks County from Dec. 21. Watson’s team won this game a casual 73-26, according to MaxPreps.
Kalib and Keylan Boone, Memorial High School, Tulsa, Okla.
Memorial High is up to 12-3 and sits atop OSSAA’s 5A hoops rankings.
The Boone twins each made the Tournament of Champions All-Tournament team after Memorial’s second-place finish. Here the pair’s highlights from the tournament, starting with Kalib.
And Keylan
Memorial captured a state championship last season and seems to be on its way to a second.
