2027 Quarterback Sladen Shack Announces Oklahoma State Offer, Visit
OSU offers a QB from Mississippi.
The Cowboys sent out an offer to a 2027 quarterback who certainly has a spot on the all-name team.
Sladen Shack announced an Oklahoma State offer on Thursday, also announcing he’ll take an official visit to Stillwater next week.
After a great conversation with @Coach_Brophy I’m blessed to receive an offer from Oklahoma State University!!!
Extremely excited for my OV next weekend! #AGTG pic.twitter.com/gqZbD71ixA— Sladen Shack (@sladen_shack) June 4, 2026
Listed at 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, Shack hails from Brandon, Mississippi. He’s the No. 1,485 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the 2027 class, which lists him as a Top 100 QB in the cycle and a Top 40 player from Mississippi.
Shack also holds offers from Ole Miss, Illinois, Arkansas State, Southern Miss, Tulane and others. He’s set to take an official to Illinois this week, and has an official scheduled to Arkansas State for June 19.
He led Brandon to a 7-6 record as a junior, which might not sound all that ideal, but the Bulldogs got hot late in the year, making it all the way to the Mississippi 7A state semifinals.
Get ready to see some dimes:
Eric Morris and Co. already had a 2027 quarterback committed in Iowa Colony (TX) product Carson White. White is one of four pledges in the Cowboys’ class to this point, along with tight end Talan Scott, safety Bryson Brown and receiver Cooper Hooker. In his short time in Stillwater, Morris has already shown a willingness to take multiple QBs in a cycle, adding Broderick Vehrs and Luke Tepas to his 2026 roster.
