2016 LB Amen Ogbongbemiga Commits to OSU
OSU received it’s tenth verbal commitment in the 2016 class over the weekend.
OSU earned its tenth commitment in the 2016 class over the weekend, as Calgary (Canada) linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga verbally pledged to the Pokes via Twitter.
I would like to announce that I am verbally committed to Oklahoma State University! I thank God for this opportunity! pic.twitter.com/XFuQyJwPg5

After receiving an offer at camp a few weeks ago and realizing his cousin connection to Emmanuel Ogbah was rather significant, it appeared the Cowboys were in pretty good shape to land a commitment.
After reading the piece from Kyle Frederickson over the weekend on Ogbongbemiga, I think he will fit in perfectly in Stillwater. “I had to go to a camp and I had to work hard to get that scholarship offer,” Ogbongbemiga said. “Once I got it, I kind of knew where I was going… Coach Spencer is a great guy. He told me that I’m going to have to work hard. It’s not just going to be a walk in the park.”
At 6-foot-1 and 208 pounds, Ogbongbemiga has a year to sharpen his football IQ and also try to put on some weight before joining the squad next year. Going into his senior season, he already has excellent size and has a high upside because of his versatility. I think he clearly has the right mindset and work ethic will eventually make him a special player in Stillwater.
