Four-Star Combo Guard Sets Official Visit to Stillwater for Boise State Game
This could be an awesome piece to the puzzle for Mike Boynton in 2019.
The news broke a couple of weeks ago that four-star wing Marcus Watson would be taking an official visit to Stillwater this upcoming weekend.
Well, it looks like he won’t be the only highly touted recruit visiting campus for the Boise State game. Rivals.com’s Corey Evans announced today in his Wednesday’s Leftovers piece that four-star combo guard Avery Anderson would be joining Watson and making an official visit to Oklahoma State.
Coach Mike Boynton recently made an in-home visit to see Anderson, and that seems to have led to Anderson scheduling his first official visit.

In addition, Evans seems to think the Cowboys have a solid shot of landing the Justin, Texas product.
“I am more confident in Oklahoma State’s chances with Anderson. The Cowboys have been strong contenders for the four-star guard in recent months and could potentially lock down Anderson by the time October rolls around.”
Evans goes on to say that he believes coach Boynton and staff are in a great position to land one of these two talented prospects to round out their 2019 recruiting class. According to 247 Sports Class Calculator, if the Pokes land Anderson to compliment the two commitments of the Boone twins, they will have the seventh ranked recruiting class in the nation.
