Biletnikoff Watch: Wallace One of Just Four FBS Receivers with 1,000 Yards
Could Tylan win OSU yet another Biletnikoff award?
Tylan Wallace’s 122 receiving yards in Waco on Saturday made him the ninth player in Oklahoma State history to have 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
Wallace, a sophomore, has 1,062 yards this season, the 13th highest in OSU history. If Wallace caught his average in OSU’s remaining three regular season games, he would finish with 1,416 receiving yards before a possible bowl game. That number would put him seventh all-time, above James Washington’s junior season and below Hart Lee Dykes’ senior season.
Wallace is one of four FBS players with 1,000 yards this season, and Wallace and Texas Tech receiver Antoine Wesley are the only Power Five receivers with at least 1,000 yards.
Here is a list of the NCAA’s leaders in receiving yardage.
