OSU Lands Commitment from Four-Star PG Davonte Davis
Davis is the first of what could be a huge 2020 hoops class.
Oklahoma State kicked off its 2020 recruiting class with a bang Sunday, landing a commitment from four-star point guard prospect Davonte Davis.
Davis is a listed 6-foot-2 ball handler ranked by 247Sports as a top-100 talent out of Jacksonville, Ark. He posted the following to his Twitter to make his commitment public.

Davis, the No. 1 prospect in Arkansas according to 247Sports, picked the Cowboys over offers from Auburn, Oregon and a handful of others. He visited OSU this summer and returned in late-October for an official visit, during which it seems Boynton and the staff won him over.
During his summer visit, he brought with him AAU teammate Chris Moore, another Cowboy target who holds an OSU offer. Moore is a 6-6 power forward in the 2020 class out of West Memphis High in Arkansas rated as a four-star talent.
Davis is the first commitment of what could potentially shape up to be a massive 2020 recruiting class for Oklahoma State. Boynton and Co. are also in the mix for five-stars Isaiah Todd and Cade Cunningham, four-stars LJ Cryer and Bryce Thompson, as well as in-state three-star Rondel Walker.
