Four-star PG Set to Make OSU Official Visit for Homecoming
Mike Boynton’s work on the recruiting trail is never done.
There will be recruits all over the place Saturday for OSU’s homecoming game against Texas, and one of the biggest names of the weekend, to the surprise of no one that has covered Mike Boynton’s stellar summer/fall, is a basketball recruit.
Four-star prospect Davonte Davis, a top-100 talent according to the 247Sports composite, is making an official for this weekend. Davis visited Stillwater over the summer alongside AAU teammate Chris Moore. Both play for Woodz Elite on the circuit, and both currently hold Cowboy scholarship offers. Davis is a Class of 2020 prospect and one of a handful of targets on the board for the Pokes at the position in the cycle. In-state standout Rondel Walker is also a name to watch, as is another in-stater in combo guard Bryce Thompson.
