Another big recruiting day for Oklahoma State wrestling. The Cowboys not only signed the top recruiting class in the country on Wednesday, they’ve also picked up a monster commitment from one of the top prospects in the 2021 class.

Travis Mastrogiovanni is ranked No. 2 in the country at 152 pounds according to FloWrestling and is their No. 4 overall prospect in the 2021 class. The younger brother of 2020 signee Trevor Mastrogiovanni wrestlers for Blair Academy in New Jersey.

This is a pair of brothers that the Cowboys will be glad to have going forward. Travis is a perfect size fit for the Cowboys. They’ve signed a lot of big guys, they have a top true freshman in Reece Witcraft at 133 this year and two elite lower weights in Jakason Burks and Travis’ brother Trevor for 2020. Mastrogiovanni is projected to fit perfectly in that gap as he’ll likely wind up somewhere from 149-165.

Here he is knocking off World Medalist and near consensus No. 1 prospect in the 2021 class Alex Facundo

Mastrogiovanni is the second 2021 commitment for the Cowboys after they landed Teague Travis last week. We’ve talked about it on here before, but it you read the tea leaves, OSU should have another very high-level class for 2021 to follow up the No. 1 class they signed on Wednesday.

2021 commitments on Flo’s Big Board

No. 4 — Travis Mastrogiovanni
No. 43 — Teague Travis
