Report: OSU Quarterback Shane Illingworth Tests Positive for COVID-19
OSU will be without QB2 this weekend.
If there were any questions as to which quarterback the Cowboys would use this weekend, those may have been answered.
Freshman Shane Illingworth tested positive for COVID-19, according to The Oklahoman’s Scott Wright.
Illingworth has played in four games for Oklahoma State this season. He played in Saturday’s Bedlam game in relief of an injured Spencer Sanders. This season, Illingworth has completed 41 of his 70 passes for 549 yards, four touchdowns and an interception.
OSU announced three players had tested positive when the athletic department released numbers Monday.
The Cowboys play Texas Tech at 11 a.m. Saturday in Boone Pickens Stadium. Illingworth will be unavailable, as he has to quarantine for 10 days.
