Gundy Says Hubbard Didn’t Practice, Williams Expected to Play
Williams being back should be a big boost for the Pokes.
Expect another heavy dose of Dezmon Jackson for the Pokes in Fort Worth.
During his pregame interview with Dave Hunziker, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said Chuba Hubbard didn’t practice this week, as he is still nursing an ankle injury. However, Gundy did say LD Brown could be available if needed.
Rodarius Williams is expected to play after exiting the Texas Tech game with a foot sprain. Gundy also said Kolby Harvell-Peel is a game-time decision.
Williams being on the field will be a big boost for an OSU defense that gave up 44 points last week to Texas Tech. He essentially eliminates a side of the field in the passing game.
The Cowboys found out their RB3 was a dang good one last week. Without Hubbard and Brown, Jackson ran for 235 yards and three touchdowns on a hefty 36 carries.
The Cowboys and Horned Frogs will kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday from Fort Worth.
