• The Cowboys are in Austin today looking for their first Big 12 win, but the No. 11 Longhorns will be a tough out. Here’s what you need to know.
• Ahead of the (football) Cowboys’ bowl announcement, CFB insider Brett McMurphy projected an OSU-Miami matchup in the Cheez-It Bowl.
(In case it happens:) The Pokes have never been part of the overrated snack bowl by name, but took part in its previous iteration (the Camping World Bowl) in 2017 when they bested Virginia Tech 30-21.
The Cowboys have faced the Canes just once — and came out worse for the wear — all the way back in 1991. OSU played No. 2 Miami and got housed 40-3.
• The Cowgirls got right against the Mountaineers with a 78-73 finish on Friday. Here are the highlights.
Non-OSU Bullets
• A CFP semifinal game that was scheduled to be played in Cali, will be played in Texas. Due to an increased amount of COVID-19 cases in Southern California, it was announced that the Rose Bowl will give way to the Cotton Bowl when it comes to the Final Four.
• Josh Allen any good?
• Can I root for neither?
