Tylan Wallace took the field as an Oklahoma State athlete on Tuesday one final time.

And he made it a good one.

Wallace finished the day with six receptions for 45 yards in just one half of action, further cementing his status as an all-time great at OSU in a career that’s been nothing short of spectacular.

To put into context just how brilliant his career was, here’s a look at his standing in the OSU record books.

First up, a look at where he stands in total receiving yards. He finishes just outside the top five all-time, but joins elite company with James Washington, Rashaun Woods, Justin Blackmon and Hart Lee Dykes.

RANK Player Total Rec Yards
1 James Washington 4,472
2 Rashaun Woods 4,414
3 Justin Blackmon 3,564
4 Hart Lee Dykes 3,510
5 Tylan Wallace 3,429
6 D’Juan Woods 2,751
7 Marcell Ateman 2,466
8 Dez Bryant 2,425
9 Josh Stewart 2,204
10 Adarius Bowman 2,187

Next, a look at all-time receptions. I didn’t realize how high he was on this list but he entered the game inside the top five and added some cushion to his lead on Josh Stewart. Here he also finishes just behind Hart Lee Dykes, James Washington, Rashaun Woods and Justin Blackmon, but he came astonishingly close to surpassing Dykes, despite playing in five fewer career games.

RANK PLAYER TOT RECS
1 Rashaun Woods 293
2 Justin Blackmon 253
3 James Washington 226
4 Hart Lee Dykes 224
5 Tylan Wallace 205
6 Josh Stewart 180
7 Jalen McCleskey 167
8 D’Juan Woods 163
9 Josh Cooper 161
10 Dillon Stoner 149

Finally, the points. How many TDs did Tylan finish with and where does it stack up? The answer: Another very comfortable top-10 all-time finish. (Also: check out Jalen McCleskey all over the place here!)

RANK PLAYER TOTAL REC TDS
1 Rashaun Woods 42
2 Justin Blackmon 40
3 James Washington 39
4 Hart Lee Dykes 31
5 Dez Bryant 29
6 Tylan Wallace 26
7 Adarius Bowman 20
8 D’Juan Woods 20
9 Tracy Moore 18
10 Jalen McCleskey 17

Wallace also finishes his career with two top-10 finishes in single-game receiving yards with legendary showings in 2018. His 220 yards receiving against Oklahoma that year ranks 10th-most in a single game all-time among OSU receivers, and his 222 yards receiving two games prior, against Texas, ranks ninth-most in a single game all-time amongst OSU receivers.

As for season-long numbers, Wallace’s 86-catch season in 2018 puts him with the seventh-most among OSU receivers in a single season. And his 1,491 yards receiving that season rank fifth most in a single season, behind only Justin Blackmon (x2), James Washington and Rashaun Woods.
