Happy birthday to OSU’s GOAT football coach yesterday and a special happy birthday to the Twin Bullets who turn four today – pretty wild to have this morning gig longer than they’ve been alive. Thanks for reading!

โข Happy 54th to Mike Gundy yesterday – his players had a fun surprise for him
โข Tough night for Cowboy Andrew Heaney as he struggled for the Yankees but cool shot as he pitched in the first ever “Field of Dreams” game last night:
โข I must have missed this – OSU moved Braydon Johnson down into the slot receiver role… very intriguing. Mike Gundy had the below to say about it.
โ(Braydon Johnson’s) a slot receiver. Weโve had to bounce him around a little bit at times with injury but thatโs his strength. Heโs extremely fast, we all know that, and heโs very shifty. And heโs got enough strength to where he can block inside on nickel backs and safeties and such. Thatโs his spot. Weโre expecting him to have a good year….”

โข Don’t be surprised if Rodarius Williams makes the Giants’ roster as a sixth-round pick – players are raving about him now
โข Stark and Jin advance at US Amateur, Gupta eliminated after opening rounds
โข This OSU long snapper can do some impressive stuff with the ball
โข This piece on the Pac-12 and adding Big 12 teams is a little older but the bit on acceptance rates really caught me off guard
โข This is really impressive longevity from the only Cowgirl Soccer coach that’s been:
Non-OSU Bullets
โข Man the oral history of GUTS was fun. Such a terrific show for a 90’s kid.
โข Speaking of 90’s kids – Trey Kennedy on stuff 90’s kids know that is worthless now is hilarious
โข The Ted Lasso scene where Rebecca apologizes to Ted ruined this guy – what a picture of forgiveness
This is really cool – BYU walkons are all getting “scholarshipped” essentially through NIL rights:
