• No big surprises on this week’s football depth chart – Gundy mentioned Blaine Green would be out “a while” in his postgame presser, surprised to see him listed on the depth chart. Mike Gundy thinks Spencer Sanders will “be fine.”
• Pokes fall to the middle of the pack in this power ranking of Big 12 teams
• To anybody watching the Missouri State game, the inability for the Pokes to run the ball is what stuck out. Gundy mentioned in his presser yesterday that one guy (none in particular) kept getting beat off his block. Either way, it’s an issue.
“We’ve got to find a way to get better than, I don’t know what the heck we had, probably 2.5 yards per carry,” (offensive coordinator Kasey) Dunn said. “That’s got to be better. We’ve got to address that immediately.”
Dunn’s fast-math at the podium was in fact generous: The Cowboys ran for 1.9 yards per attempt in a meager performance on the ground…”

• CBS’ Jerry Palm has the Pokes facing Mack Brown in the Cheez-Its Bowl
• Justice Hill tore his Achilles 🙁
• It’s hard to tell but I think I agree with this take- imperative that the Pokes look good on TV this year
• Bedlam rivals aligned on this thought:
• Some generally interesting points in the presser – how transfers can dramatically shape rosters and his thoughts on expansion candidates

• Loved to hear about this gal’s experience going back to church after a divorce (faith-based)
• WW2 bunker converted into a guesthouse
Florida State’s McKenzie Milton getting to play and almost beating Notre Dame was terrific. Here’s the story if you don’t know it.
