Daily Bullets (Nov. 14): Cowboy Basketball Double Feature, Between Houston and Basketball
Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
OSU Bullets
• A couple of Cowboy Basketball games coming up this week back in Mike Boynton’s native New York:
Upcoming week: 5:30 p.m. Thursday vs. St. Bonaventure; 3:30/6 p.m. Friday vs. Auburn/Notre Dame. All games will be played at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Thursday will be broadcast on ESPNU, Friday will be on either ESPNU or ESPN2.
• Been trying to frame Saturday’s loss – it’s a unique hybrid between the thorough beating in Manhattan last year and the shock of losing to a new opponent, shades of losing in Morgantown in 2013
• Ollie Gordon was named a Maxwell Award semifinalist (PFB)
• Top quotes from Mike Gundy’s weekly press conference (PFB)
• Missed this over the weekend – what happened to the Bedlam goalpost that ended up in Theta Pond (Sellout Crowd)
• Can handle this math to hope for the Pokes to make another trip to Arlington – feels counterintuitive to pull for KU over K-State though:
Basically, #OKState fans should be rooting for the Cowboys, Jayhawks and Longhorns on Saturday.
