Three-Star Offensive Lineman Semisi Tonga Flips Commitment From OSU to Arizona State
OSU still has three offensive linemen commits in the class.
Semisi Tonga planned on being a Cowboy for almost two months.
After committing to Oklahoma State on Oct. 15, Tonga announced Tuesday night that he flipped his commitment and committed to incoming Big 12 program Arizona State. He also tweeted a picture with ASU offensive line coach Saga Tuitele on Tuesday before the announcement.

Tonga is a three-star offensive lineman from West High School in Salt Lake City. He is the No. 1,191 player in the 2024 class, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking.
When Tonga committed, so did his high school teammate, Nuku Mafi, only moments before. Mafi, also a three-star offensive lineman, is still committed to OSU as of writing. With Mafi, OSU’s 2024 recruiting class still includes three offensive linemen, all of which are three-star recruits. The Cowboys will also return at least five offensive linemen so far who have announced they’ll be back next year, including Joe Michalski, Cole Birmingham, Dalton Cooper, Jake Springfield and Jason Brooks Jr.
The early signing period opens Dec. 20.
