EA Sports Ranks Oklahoma State as Top 25 Team for New College Football 25 Video Game
The Cowboys got an 87 overall rating.
Oklahoma State won’t take much rebuilding in Dynasty Mode in EA Sports’ upcoming College Football 25.
In anticipation of the new video game being released July 19, EA Sports concluded its Rankings Week on Friday by unveiling its team power rankings. The Cowboys came in at No. 24 with an 87 overall rating. OSU was also at No. 21 with an 84 overall rating in the defense rankings that were released Thursday.

The Cowboys were one of five teams from the new-look Big 12 included in the Top 25. Newcomer Utah was ranked the highest at No. 10 with an 88 overall rating. The Utes were followed by No. 16 Colorado (87), No. 22 Kansas (87) and No. 23 Arizona (87). If you are planning to play as OSU in Dynasty Mode right off the bat, of those ranked conference teams, Utah and Colorado are on the Cowboys’ schedule in 2024. There could be a meeting with Kansas or Arizona in AT&T Stadium, though, where hopefully EA Sports includes the title belt and an animated Undertaker wandering the sidelines.
EA Sports started its Rankings Week on Tuesday with the top 25 toughest places to play — a list that omitted Boone Pickens Stadium. On Wednesday, EA Sports released a “Sights and Sounds Deep Dive” that was narrated by Kirk Herbstreit. OSU was not included in the video, but it gave great insight on what to expect from the highly anticipated video game and can be watched below.
Although OSU was missing from the latest video, the Cowboys were littered throughout the trailer, which Marshall dove into here.
