Social Reactions: Rainsoaked and Rundown, OSU Fans Take to Social Media to Air Grievances
Somewhere between heartbreak and humor.
Somewhere between heartache and humor. That’s where this week’s edition of Social Reactions lies, which is more than I can say for the mood of Oklahoma State’s fanbase.
OSU lost to Arizona State 42-21 on Saturday. The Cowboys are 0-6 in Big 12 play and need to win their last three games just to get another one in a bowl. Mother Nature couldn’t even give them a break. Those fans who did stick around, and those who didn’t, had plenty to air out. Most did so on social media.
As has become a weekly custom, come, let us commiserate.

Am I, a 40-year old alum, allowed to order an XL pepperoni and side of cheese sticks and a gallon of ranch from Pistol Pizza to eat sadly in my car in the Kerr-Drummond parking lot before heading home?

What a weird sport this has become. ASU defensive lineman Justin Wodtly was ejected for spitting on an OSU player. There was no replay of the incident according to the broadcast crew. But we did get a look from inside the visitors’ locker room.

ASK HIM IN THE POSTGAME, YOU COWARD! 😉
Has OSU tried unplugging its defense and plugging it back in?

Big oof.
Oklahoma State has:
– 6 straight losses for the 1st time since 2000
– Started 0-6 in Big 12 play, also the 1st time since 2000
– 4 losses by double digits for the 1st time since 2014
– Allowed a 100+ yard rusher in 7 of 9 games#OKState

At some point, it will stop becoming funny.

It did, finally, happen. But, two attempts in the most garbage of garbage time.
I don’t understand why you don’t just give another QB a shot.
What, the offense is hard to learn?
Opposing defenses don’t seem to have any trouble with it.

I do know of a certain pair of PeanutButter Snickers that were stashed away in my office.
Looks like the dad tax just went up!
