Top 40 Prospect Sebastian Williams-Adams Announces Commitment Date
Williams-Adams averaged 21.1 points a game as a high school junior.
One of the Cowboys’ top targets for the 2025 recruiting class is closing in announcing his college destination.
Sebastian Williams-Adams, a consensus four-star recruit, will make his announcement on Sunday on the 247Sports YouTube channel. Williams-Adams announced his top four late last month of Oklahoma State, Auburn, Vanderbilt and Purdue.
Listed at 6-foot-8, 230 pounds, Williams-Adams is considered a four-star recruit by 247Sports, Rivals, ESPN and On3. Those services have him listed as highly as No. 39 in the 2025 class and as low as 58.
He plays his high school ball at St. John’s in Houston, where he averaged 21.1 points, 10 rebounds and 4.4 assists a game as a junior, according to MaxPreps. He played his AAU ball with JL3 Elite on the Nike EYBL circuit this past summer, putting up 14.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists a game at Peach Jam.
First-year OSU coach Steve Lutz has a pair of commitments in his 2025 class thus far in four-star guard Ryan Crotty and three-star big man Mekhi Ragland. That two-man class ranks 40th nationally, according to 247Sports, and sixth in the Big 12. A commitment from Williams-Adams would move the Pokes’ class up to No. 13 nationally and second in the Big 12.
