Four-Star Defensive Back Jalen Williams Includes Oklahoma State in Top 5
Williams visits Stillwater in April.
The state of Oklahoma could be on its way to getting another Jalen Williams.
Four-star defensive back Jalen Williams (not to be confused with the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Jalen Williams or Jaylin Williams) announced on Thursday that he is down to five schools: Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Arizona State, Pitt and NC State.

Out of Marietta, Georgia, Williams is a four-star prospect and the No. 8 nickelback in the 2026 class, according to Rivals. As a junior at Kell High School last season, Williams had two interceptions while recording 39 tackles and four tackles for loss. Williams’ highlights show him lining up all over the defensive backfield as a junior — playing corner, safety and in the slot. He’s listed at 6-foot, 160 pounds.
He announced an Oklahoma State offer on Valentine’s Day and just a few hours later announced that he locked in an official visit to Stillwater from April 18-20. He has also scheduled visits to Arizona State (May 2-4) and NC State (June 13-15). Along with offers to his top five schools, Williams had also announced offers to Auburn, BYU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Duke, Michigan State, Missouri, Kentucky and others.
OSU picked up its first commitment in the 2026 cycle a few weeks back when three-star edge rusher Jaylen Stewart pledged to the Pokes. It feels like recruiting news could start flowing quickly in the coming weeks. The Cowboys’ newly constructed staff has set up about 30 official visits for the coming months. Most of those will happen in April, but there are also some scheduled for May and June.
