19 Cowboys Set to Take Part in Big 12’s NFL Pro Day
A slew of former Cowboys will showcase their talents in Frisco.
The Cowboys will be well-represented when NFL scouts show up in Frisco next week.
The Big 12 is holding its second annual Pro Day March 18-21 inside the Ford Center at The Star. The annual event, which kicked off last year, will feature more than 200 Big 12 athletes and 19 former Cowboys.
The showcase will be televised on the NFL Network at 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on March 19 and 20, and additional coverage will be available online and through NFL+ coverage.
The offensive linemen will get things started at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, followed by the defensive line prospects and then the linebackers. On Thursday, we’ll get to see the skill players starting with the running backs and tight ends before the quarterbacks and defensive backs finish the day. The special teams players will be in action on Friday.
This event gives scouts a wider range of prospects to evaluate than the NFL Draft Combine, which took place in February. Ollie Gordon, Nick Martin and Collin Oliver all took part in that exhibition.
Nineteen Cowboys were among the list of players scheduled to take part in the Pro Day according to a release by the conference.
